Running the Installer
Insert the MTM Uploadr installation CD-ROM into your CD Drive, Setup starts automatically. If the setup does not start automatically, select the Start button, choose Run then type D:\setup.exe and select OK.
(Where 'D' is the letter of your CD Drive)
Upon starting the installation process, a check will be made on you system for the current version of the .NET framework installed on your system. The MTM uploadr relies on version 2.0 of the framework and will update this as part of the installation process if required.
.NET Framework 2.0
If the .NET Framework version 2.0 is not currently installed, the install routine will update this automatically. Before updating the .NET Framework you will be prompted to accept two different licence agreements. The first of these is for the .NET framework 2.0.
The second of the agreements is for an extension to the .NET framework which is also required by the MTM Uploadr application.
Not accepting either of these licence agreements will exit the installation. Accepting the agreements will start the installation process.
MTM Uploadr Setup Wizard
Once the .NET Framework has been updated or alternatively if you did not require the update, the MTM Uploadr setup wizard will be displayed. S elect [Next] to start installation and follow the on-screen instructions.
Select the destination directory where the program should be installed to. It is recommended that you use the default location which is set to: C:\Program Files\BoatShop24 Limited\MTM Uploadr\.
During this step in the installation wizard you will also be given the option of installing the program for yourself, meaning only you will be given shortcuts on your desktop and start menu, or for everyone who uses the computer.
You will now be asked to confirm that you are happy to install the application with the information that has been provided. If you are happy to continue click [Next].
The installations progress is displayed via a status label and a progress bar.
The installation is now complete, click [Finish] to exit.
